Shareable Links
How to capture leads from Instagram with a chatbot link
Instagram doesn't give you many places to put a link. Your bio allows one, and it usually points at your homepage — not straight at a booking or a lead form. A chatbot shareable link gives your bio, stories, and posts a single URL that walks a visitor through your questions and saves every answer.
What a shareable link is
A shareable link is a standalone public page that runs the exact same chat flow you design in ChatMakeee. You create it from your dashboard, give it a name (for example “Instagram”), and publish it. You get a short URL you can put anywhere:
- your Instagram bio;
- a story or pinned post caption;
- a WhatsApp message or email signature;
- a QR code on a poster, business card, or storefront.
Visitors don't need an account. They open the link and answer your questions.
How to set it up in ChatMakeee
- Build or pick your flow in the builder — the questions visitors will answer.
- Open the Shareable Page section in your dashboard.
- Create a page, name it (for example “Instagram”), and publish it.
- Copy the link.
- Put the link in your Instagram bio and any posts or stories that drive visitors to it.
On higher plans you can create more than one page, each with its own link and slug, all running the same flow. Turn a page off or regenerate the link anytime from the dashboard.
What the visitor does
When someone opens the link:
- the chat opens with your welcome message;
- they answer one question at a time — choices, text, or a booking step;
- they can enter their contact details as a lead;
- if your flow includes a booking step, they pick a slot from your real availability.
Where the answers go
Every finished conversation is saved as a lead in your CRM. The lead includes the name the visitor gave, the options they picked, and the full conversation history. You can export the list as a CSV anytime — your data, no lock-in.
