Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 30, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how ChatMakeee and its service partners use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) when you visit our website at chatmakeee.com, use the app at app.chatmakeee.com, or interact with our services. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control them.

By continuing to use our website and services after this policy takes effect, you agree to our use of cookies as described here. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to work more efficiently, and to report information to the site owner.

Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in a similar way and allow a site to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or a sign-in session.

3. The cookies we use

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential / Strictly necessary — Required for the core functions of the service, such as keeping you signed in (authentication), remembering your session, and protecting against fraud and abuse. These cannot be switched off and are not used for marketing.
  • Functional — Help the site remember your choices and preferences (for example, your language or the appearance of your chatbot) so we can personalise your experience.
  • Analytics — Help us understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it. When we add analytics (such as Google Analytics 4), these cookies collect information in an aggregated and anonymous form.
  • Advertising / Marketing — Used (only with your consent where required) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you more relevant content. We may use third parties for this.

4. Cookies we set ourselves

Auth and session cookies are set by us (or by our authentication provider, Supabase) so that the app can recognise you and keep you signed in across pages. These also protect your account and the lead data stored on your behalf.

5. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use, including:

  • Google — for sign-in with Google and, when enabled, for analytics (GA4).
  • Supabase — our authentication and database provider.
  • Payment providers — to process payments securely and to recognise returning payers.
  • Cloudflare — our hosting and content-delivery provider, which may use cookies for performance and security.

These third parties may change over time. We recommend you review each provider's own cookie and privacy policies for full details.

6. How to control and delete cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. In most browsers you can refuse all cookies or set your browser to alert you before a cookie is placed. The "Help" menu of your browser usually explains how to change these settings, including how to clear cookies already stored on your device.

Please note that some parts of the service, particularly staying signed in, rely on essential cookies. If you block or delete these, parts of the app may not work correctly and you may be asked to sign in again.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Settings → Safari → Advanced → Website Data

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, our services, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you.
